The Episcopal Church in Red Hook, NY
NavigationThe Episcopal Church in Barrytown, New York
Our doors are open to anyone who is seeking a church home and each Sunday we look forward to welcoming visitors into our beautiful and historic church. All are invited to be part of our eclectic and engaged congregation regardless of race, culture, tradition, age, gender, or sexual orientation. The people of St. John’s are a warm, welcoming group of devoted believers with a deep commitment to worship. We cherish our liturgy, our church and its beautiful grounds, and each other. Our parish is composed of families who have joined St. John’s recently as well as those who have faithfully attended our church for over 25 years, some for as many as 60 or more years. Our relationship with Bard has strengthened over the past several years and we welcome faculty and many students from Bard College as well as a few canine friends. Most live within 10 miles of St. John’s though, some members travel here from across the Hudson River, and from as far away as Connecticut.
